Building Corporate Safety Defence: RSCN Electric Full Participation in Fire Safety Training
On May 22, 2025, RSCN electric organised a systematic and multi-dimensional fire safety training activity for all the staff with the theme of "prevention as the mainstay, combining prevention and elimination". This activity aims to enhance the staff's awareness of fire safety, popularise the skills of fire emergency treatment, further consolidate the foundation of enterprise safety production, and create a corporate culture atmosphere of "everyone knows safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies".
The activity is divided into three core links: lectures, simulation drills and interactive Q&A.
Lecture:
The company invited a fire safety expert as the main lecture, focusing on the "causes and prevention of fire", "the use of fire fighting equipment", "escape and self-rescue techniques"three major sections to start the explanation. Through real case studies, the experts analysed the common fire hazards in industrial environments, such as overloading of electrical equipment, improper management of flammable materials, etc., and emphasised the concept of "prevention is better than rescue".
In addition, the experts also demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, smoke masks and other equipment to ensure that each employee mastered the basic operating skills.
Simulation Exercise:
After the theoretical course, all employees participated in the practical exercise in groups. In the simulated "fire"scenario, employees need to quickly complete the alarm, evacuation, initial fire extinguishing and other tasks.
- Evacuation drill: Each department was evacuated to the safe area in an orderly manner according to the predetermined escape route, and the whole process was controlled within 3 minutes;
- Fire extinguishing practice: employees take turns to use dry powder fire extinguishers to extinguish simulated fires and correct operational errors;
- Casualty rescue: learn how to use a stretcher to transfer the injured, and master the basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills.
Interactive Q&A:
In order to strengthen the memory of knowledge, an open-ended Q&A session was set up. Employees actively asked questions covering practical issues such as "how to check the expiry date of fire extinguishers" and "precautions for escaping from high-rise buildings", which were answered one by one by experts who gave professional advice.
The event covered all departments of RSCN, including production, R&D, administration and management, with a 100% participation rate. A number of employees said that the training content is close to the actual working scenario and is highly practical.
RSCN always regards safety as the lifeline of enterprise development. This fire training is not only an important part of the annual safety plan, but also reflects the company's attention to the life, health and property safety of employees.
Mrs Chen, General Manager of the company, emphasised in her concluding remarks: "Safety is a prerequisite for efficiency, and it is also a basic responsibility to our employees and the society. In the future, we will continue to promote the construction of safety culture and organise regular drills to ensure that every employee can become the “guardian” of corporate safety."
Looking ahead: RSCN plans to incorporate fire safety training into the mandatory induction course for new employees and carry out special drills on a quarterly basis. At the same time, the company will also upgrade the plant's fire protection facilities, add intelligent smoke alarm systems and emergency signs, to further tighten the safety net.
Corporate Responsibility in Action
RSCN has not only improved its emergency response capability, but has also built up a team consensus of "safety first" through the fire safety activities participated by all staff. On the road of safety production, RSCN Electric is interpreting responsibility with action and guarding the future with professionalism.
